Well upgrading your cultivation works so going through the tribulations but the most effective way is through transfer which costs like spirit jades which multiply cultivation by 8 for 10 years while cultivation room will only multiply cultivation by 5 you can also find manuals or just some books in stores on market that also increase cultivation sadly I have yet to get one. The only benefits for flesh is that it gives you like 1 strength 1 virility and like 1 dexterity but it doesn't compare to tribulations that why they cost more.
So far, its better to increase cultivation, as you'd level up faster the higher your cultivation is. If you use the soul wandering technique on dragon slope you should be able to earn some ensoulment pills slowly. After that click promotion if you have enough contributions you can just click on inherited disciple. Go to the sect menu and click on Sect Elder. It's on the second or third floor of market it appears from time to time, unlike the stock from the first floor which is static. You can get 10 per day You should use all of them, if you don't it'll be just 10 in the next day. I have no idea what influence or the rank does though. When people praise your card you gain influence and your card will gain a rank. When people view your name card they can praise it and get spirit stones. Send name cards by checking out your own name card in your inventory costumes section. You can also find them in Dungeon after Nihility I. You can get them from alliance build chests and activites. Just be patient you will have the opportunity to get one if you play for long enough. You can get beast eggs through treasure house or events. You can learn skills in a sect based on your standing within said sect, when you reach custodian, most sects will give you access to learning an ultimate skill. Join a sect and get enough contribution points then get promotion to the highest rank, then learn skill from Sect leader. Increases some of ur skills actually most of them the higher it gets the better ur skills will be.
